Mobile Device Data Entry

Golf Score keeper has a mobile data entry app that is free to paid site members (Membership is $9.9 per year).

This app currently is supported on the iPhone, iPad and iTouch.

Players are able to conveniently load course information from their favorites course list and enter hole by hole data as they are playing the round or while enjoying refreshments at the end of the round in the club house.

Sign Up Only $9.90 a Year!

Paid GSK members can download the free app from the iTunes Store and install it on their Apple device. Your Apple device will neeed a connection to the Internet in order to install the app and in order to get the entry of a round started.

Users can log in to the app using their login credentials for the GSK website. Once they are logged in, they can select a course from the My Courses list of courses and select one of those for entering a round. You can use the Courses section of the site to add any GSK course to your My Courses list so it can be used with the mobile entry app.

For each hole the mobile app allows you to enter Fairway Hit, Green in Regulation, Score, Putts, Penalties, Up and Down and Sand Saves.

After the round information has been entered, a connection to the Internet is required to post the round to your record of rounds.

Login

You can login with your GSK site credentials (email address and password). If you are not a GSK member, you can click on the "Use Demo Account" button to test the functionality of the app. The demo account is the same as the guest member account that is used for the site preview.

Courses

After you are logged in, you are presented with the list of all the courses in you My Courses list. You can add any course from the GSK Courses section to your list of My Courses.

Course View

After selecting a course, you are presented with a confirmation page where you can confirm that you want to enter a new round. Once you select entering a new round, you are presented with the screen which asks which holes you will be playing, the tees, the type of round and the date for the round.

You can select either 18 holes, Front 9 or Back 9 to determine which holes are being played for the round. You can select from the listing of active tees for the course and you can select thetype of round you are entering. Finally you can enter the date for the round.

For each hole you select Fairway Hit if your ball lands in the fairway. If you make the green in regulation number of strokes, you can select the Green In Regulation. For the approach, you can select Sand Save Made ot Not Made as well as Up and Down Made or Not Made. Every hole will default to 2 putts and you can adjust for the actual of putts. You can select and enter any penalty strokes. The default score is par for the hole and you can adjust for your actual score.

After the last hole you will get the option to post the round to the GSK web site. You will need to be connected to the Internet at the time you request the round be posted.
